Welcome to the website of MMU’s English Research Institute (ERI).
ERI was established in November 2003 as part of the University’s re-organisation of research into ten specialist institutes.
The Institute brings together over 50 researchers, writers and students from a wide range of different fields in English Studies, including Drama and Creative Writing, Postcolonial and Critical Theory, Film and American Studies, and Literature and Modernity.
